FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas (KNWA/KFTA) — A new study out of the University of Arkansas shows COVID-19 has been a boost for alcohol sales. Just not at bars.
From March to November, sales tax revenue dramatically rose for liquor stores in Washington and Benton counties.
At bars, revenues dropped significantly down to 40 percent in Washington County alone.
