Personal fireworks not allowed in most NWA cities for New Year’s Eve

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) — Arkansas residents are not allowed to light fireworks on New Year’s Eve in most cities.

If you’re planning on kicking off the new year with fireworks, you might want to check if it’s even allowed in your city.

According to firework laws in NWA, you won’t be able to light up the sky tomorrow night in cities like Fayetteville and Springdale.

Firework ordinances in Centerton states you can shoot between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and midnight, December 31 and between the hours of 12:01 a.m. and 12:30 a.m., January 1.

In Bella Vista, fireworks are permitted on December 31 beginning at 6:00 p.m. through 1:00 a.m. on January 1.

Be sure to check with your city and county whether you can start the decade off with a bang!
