ROGERS, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Rogers Fire Department responds to a house fire after it was hit by lightning Friday morning.
Emergency crews responded to 1700-block of West Berkeley Ave around 11 a.m. Crews are reporting light smoke visible from the outside and in the attic.
Rogers Fire Chief Tom Jenkins said a family home at the time of the fire but no one was injured.
Fire crews made quick work to put out the fire and minor damage was done to the home Jenkins said.
