This NWA Baby Will Get Free Diapers for a Year

KNWA
ROGERS — The parents of the first baby born at Mercy Northwest Arkansas can scratch at least one baby-must have off their shopping list.

Natalie was born at 6:24p.m. on January 1, weighing in at almost 12 pounds. For the honor of being first, Huggies will supply a year’s worth of diapers to the newborn as well as a gift basket full of things like a food warmer and video baby monitor.

The parents thought little Natalie was going to be born around Christmas time, which is one of the reasons they chose the name Natalie which also means Christmas.

So how much money will this save that one lucky New Year’s baby? According towhattoexpect.com, during that first year, little ones go through about 2,500 dirty diapers – at a cost of at least $600 for disposables.
