Actor Michael Douglas celebrating his 50th anniversary in the entertainment business in a big way. He now has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Douglas was accompanied by his 101-year-old father, Kirk, who received his own star in 1960 just a few feet away. Former co-star Jane Fonda was also at the ceremony as a guest speaker. Douglas is a double Academy Award winner and is known for his involvement in popular films, including “Wall Street”  and “Fatal Attraction”.

We all know why the chicken crossed the road but what about the salmon? Well, for some salmon in Washington state, it was to give birth. That’s according to the woman who filmed it. A fish hatchery specialist, spotted over a dozen salmon swimming across a highway. The roadway was flooded at the time, which made the trek much easier for the mothers-to-be. According to the specialist , this isn’t an unusual sight in Washington.

Are we alone in the universe? A mysterious object spotted tumbling through our solar system last year– may have been an alien spacecraft sent to investigate earth. At least, that’s what astronomers from Harvard University suggest in a research paper. The object called oumuamua {*oh-moo-aa-moo-aa*} was first discovered by a telescope in Hawaii traveling at speeds of 196,000 miles per hour. We may never know if the astronomers are correct. What we do know is the oumuamua is the first object ever seen in our solar system that is known to have originated elsewhere.

It can transform from tablet to smart-phone by simply folding it like a book. The dual screens offer some perks.
