The Fayetteville Public Library is expecting a large crowd to hear New York Times best-selling Author Khaled Hosseini.  The author of The Kite Runner will be speaking at 7:00 p.m. Friday.  Doors to the event will open early at 6:30 p.m.  Available seating will be on a first come, first served basis.  For details click here.  

The 45th Annual Dogwood Festival begins Friday in Siloam Springs.  The festival draws an estimated 30,000 people to downtown Siloam and will feature more than 200 booths that provide a wide variety of arts, crafts and vintage items.  The Dogwood Festival runs through Sunday.  For details click here

Five students with different-abilities in Benton County will be presented with an Ambucs customized mobility bike on Saturday at the DoubleTree in Bentonville at 12:30 p.m.  There will be a presentation and the students will receive the assembled bikes.  To learn more about Ambucs mobility bikes click here.
