The weather is a little wet and cold so bring the family indoors for some fun at the Jones Center for Rendezvous at the Rink.  There will be hot chocolate, treats and valentine card decorating.  The fun starts at 7:00 p.m., admission is free for members and a plus one or $7 per person or $10 per couple for non members.  For more information click here
 

Bentonville Parks and Recreation want you and your sweetheart to keep the love from Valentine’s Day going.  They are hosting a Sweatheart Social.  The event  delivers action packed fitness with delicious & nutritious dinner.  The event starts at 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at 1101 SW Citzens Circle near the bentonville community park.  The cost of the social is $35/members, $40/non-members and parents there is child care available. Happening this weekend, a salute to Black Excellence.  The black-tie event will celebrate African Americans who are making an impact right here in Northwest Arkansas.  The event will take place on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Historic St. James Missionary Bapist Church in Fayetteville.  To register click here
 

If you want to leave a lasting impression on one of the most popular trail systems in Northwest Arkansas, you’ll want to check out the Lake Fayetteville Trail Build on Sunday.

The Ozark Off-Road Cyclists are hosting the build for any and all volunteers from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  The build will focus on the entrance into the trail system from Veterans Memorial Park trail head.  The group will be working with large paving stones, so volunteers are asked to wear sturdy shoes and bring gloves and water.  The OORC will provide tools and training.  For more information click here
