Good Day NWA: Happening in NWA Thursday, January 31

Lifestyle

Kickoff Frost Fest festivities at Puritan Coffee & Beer on Dickson.  There will be music by Cadillac Jackson, ticket and glassware giveaways.  Remember, a portion of the proceeds from Frost Fest go to local non-profit Apple Seeds, Inc.  The fun starts at 7:00 p.m.  For more information click here

Also happening in NWA, Teenagers will have the chance to learn and practice improv skills at the Rogers Public Library.  Teens will participate in some hilarious games while also practicing the skills of characterization and listening. This is part of the library’s Teen Night series that happens every Thursday at 6:00 p.m. in the community room.  For more information click here. Check out our Facebook page to watch Jaclyn and Jason do a quick improv session.

Sticking with the theme of improv comedy, Rodeo Book Club is back in action at Backspace in Fayetteville.  The show is hilarious, long-form improv comedy where the actors create scenes based on audience suggestions.  The show starts at 10:00 p.m. and features Good Day NWA’s very own, Jason Suel.  For more information click here

A unique event is happening at Bike Rack Brewing in Springdale.  They are hosting a book signing, but no famous authors will be in attendance.  Instead, folks are just encouraged to bring books from home and have them signed by other bar patrons! And you can sign books too!  The book signing begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by live music from Randall Shreve at 7:00 p.m.  Click here for more information

West & Watson in downtown Fayetteville have two good reasons to come out.  First, in the happy hour slot from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., musician Cody Nielson will be performing.  Then at 9:00 p.m. get ready for the music of Dale Stokes.  For more information click here for Cody’s performance and here for Dale’s performance.
