February is Black History Month. Celebrations and events continue Tuesday at the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development.  You can participate in an event entitled “incARceraTed” which focuses on the arts, criminal justice, and transformation.  A reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the event will follow at 7:00 p.m.  This event is presented by Visionairi Foundation along with the University of Arkansas.  For more information click here

Northwest Arkansas Emerging Leaders is happy to announce a new leadership development series for 2019.  The series is entitled “L.E.A.D.” (leadership, education, activation and development).  The series will take place at Levi’s Gastrolounge and Low Bar in Rogers from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  For more information click here

If you are interested in the music scene in NWA, Shindig Music invites you to George’s Majestic Lounge for their first NWA Music Industry Meetup.  This will be an evening of networking and creative business dialogue.  The event kicks off at 6:00 p.m.  For more information click here

Calling all musicians, poets, comedians, and performers of all types, it’s open mic night at The Nines in Bentonville.  Open Mic happens every Tuesday night. Sign ups begin at 7:30 p.m. and performances begin at 8:00 p.m.  This event is brought to you by the local band Space Pirate.  For more information click here

Finally, parents here’s an event just for you.  The Benton County Sheriff’s Office is hosting Parents Night Out.  The adult only event will take place at 6:00 p.m. at Keypoint Church in Bentonville.  It’s presented by the Cyber Crimes Unit to educate parents on how to protect their children online.
