The Pryor Center in downtown Fayetteville resumes it’s lecture series with a talk entitled “Discovering a Lost Film among Charlie Chaplin’s Outtakes.”  One of the world’s foremost authorities on Chaplin, University of Arkansas Professor Frank Scheide, is delighted to share his research. The event begins at 6:00 p.m.  The event is free and open to the public.  For more information click here

Happening at the Bentonville Public Library, it’s open chess play for teens! If you have a teenager intersted in chess, tell them to get ready to rock their rooks, knights & bishops.  Games start in the teen zone at 6:00 p.m.  For more information click here.  

Vermont-based funk band Twiddle will take the stage at George’s Majestic Lounge.  This is their first show in Fayetteville and the show also kicks off their winter 2019 tour.  The band will be joined by special guests The Hip Abduction.  Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. and the music will begin at 8:30 p.m.  Click here for tickets. 

If you enjoy good, ole-time Texas two-stepping, or want to learn, head to American Legion Post 27 in Fayetteville .  Jumpsuit Jamey and The Can’t Wait To Playboys are leading free two-stepping lessons from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  You’ll be spinning, turning and twirling your partner to authentic honky-tonk music.
