Casey Matsko from the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation joins Good Day NWA with details on an event the entire family will enjoy.
JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. The organization works with scientific resources and policy influence to better treat, prevent, and eventually cure T1D.
On Saturday, November 24 you can join JDRF for an inaugural event. The Teddy Bear Tea will take place at the Inn at Carnall Hall, from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. The event will feature crafts, letters to Santa that kids can hand deliver to Santa himself, as well as take a picture with jolly ol St. Nick. There will be cookies, snacks, hot chocolate and of course tea! Each child will receive a teddy bear for snuggling.
