It’s Friday, that means it’s time for our Malco Movie Minute where we show you what’s new in theaters.
First up, Felicity Jones is playing the future supreme court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in “On the Basis of sex.” The film shows Ginsburg as a struggling attorney and new mother who faces adversity and numerous obstacles in her fight for equal rights. Armie Hammer plays her husband, Martin Ginsburg, who finds the case that launches her crusade into court. “On the Basis of Sex” is rated PG-13.
“Til death do us part” is just a suggestion in “Replicas.” Keanu Reeves stars in this resurrection drama. He’s a neuro-scientist making breakthroughs in artificial consciousness. But when he loses his family in a car accident, his heartbreak provides the perfect opportunity to take a big scientific leap

Kevin Hart is the one who knocks in “The Upside.” The popular comedian pairs up with “Breaking Bad” actor Bryan Cranston in this unlikely friendship. Hart plays an ex-con trying to get a job to keep his parole officer happy. Cranston is a paralyzed billionaire who needs help with the basics. The two have nothing in common, but end up enriching each other’s lives in unexpected ways. “The Upside” is rated PG-13.
Finally, man gets separated from his best friend in “A Dog’s Way Home.” This creature feature chronicles the accidental adventures of “Bella.” She’s a rambunctious pup who gets separated from her owner, so she begins a 400 mile trek back home, meeting people and touching lives Forrest Gump style along the way. “A Dog’s Way Home” is rated PG.
