You don’t have to leave Northwest Arkansas to go to space. The Bentonville Public Library is offering sessions entitled: “Our Journey into Space.” Fifth through twelfth graders can learn through a hands-on activity. The sessions happen on various Mondays throughout the summer and are free to attend

Happening at the Fayetteville Public Library is another book talk, this one centers on the book “We Were Yours” by Lisa Wingate. This group meets on the first Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. If you’re thinking about participating but haven’t read this month’s book, that’s okay, you are welcome to come meet new people and learn more about the book and the reading group. Your kids have the chance give college a test drive. The Northwest Arkansas Community College Kid’s College begins Monday. Throughout the month of June, kids ages nine through sixteen can ignite their future passions. Brush off your Keds and head to Black Apple Crossing in downtown Springdale for trivia night. Go all the way back to the 80s with “Name That Tune: Eighties Edition.” They’ll be holding the trivia “With or Without You.” Bonus points if your boyfriend is named Jessie.
