The Bentonville Public Library is hosting a Cosmic Kids Workshop happening at 2:00 p.m.  Your kiddos can make newspaper popsicle stick puppets and work on descriptive writing using the five senses.  The workshop is geared towards students entering grades first through fourth.  For details click here.  

If you’re looking for a way to give back to the community, then the Junior League of NWA wants you!  You can join them for an informational social happening at 6:00 p.m. at Bike Rack Brewing Company in Bentonville.  Attendees will have the chance to meet current Junior League members as well as learn more about the league’s involvement in the community.  For details click here.  

The Scott Family Amazeum invites you to help build the maker-educator community by attending its Maker-Educator Meet Up.  You’ll have the opportunity to meet and share with the latest maker-in-residence, Asia Ward.  The event starts at 6:30 p.m.  For details click here.

The Children’s Safety Center team will hold free child abuse protection training at United Bank on S. Thompson in Springdale. According to research, 90% of child abuse victims know their abuser.
