Eagle-eyed viewers of the “Game of Thrones” finale Sunday night spotted something that had no place in the mythical land…a plastic water bottle. It could be seen in a tense segment where characters discussed the fate of Westeros. Some viewers said they spied a second water bottle later in the episode. This comes just two weeks after someone left a disposable coffee cup on set in another episode of the show. And in the episode that aired a week ago, editor’s failed to remove a hand on a character who’d lost one back in season three. The series finale was a ratings bonanza with more than 19 million viewers watching the true ruler take the iron throne. That’s a new record for HBO.
Wedding bells are ringing for actress Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost . Johansson’s rep confirmed the engagement. The ‘Saturday Night Live’ star and actress have been dating for about two years.
Johansson has a daughther from a previous marriage.
Turns out billionaires are just like us. Take Oprah Winfrey for instance who says she “splurged” on Ralph Lauren towels with her first million dollar check. The former talk show host opening up about the spending spree while answering a series of questions from young girls. She said of the towels they were “so big and fluffy, you can wrap your whole self.” She also said she snapped a pic of her holding the million dollar payday.
“Sesame Street” is introducing a new muppet to highlight foster families. The new character is named ‘Karli,’ a yellow-haired friend of Elmo’s who introduces viewers to the concept of “for-now parents.” In one clip, Karli’s foster mom explains her mother is “having a hard time” and they are taking care of her temporarily. Karli’s introduction comes as the country observes National Foster Care Month, which takes place every year in May.
