Coronavirus in Arkansas: 2,348 new cases, 11 additional deaths

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — There are 2,348 new cases and 11 additional deaths due to COVID-19 in Arkansas on Thursday, November 26.

There are now 17,588 cases statewide considered active by the Arkansas Department of Health.

The statewide death toll due to COVID-19 is now 2,436.

A total of 1,003 people are hospitalized, 169 people are on ventilators, and a total of 132,580 people have recovered.

LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — After several people had apparent allergic reactions at one California clinic, state health officials on Sunday told providers across the state to pause administering doses from one COVID-19 vaccine lot that arrived from Moderna.

The move, made “out of an extreme abundance of caution,” means that 330,000 doses distributed to 287 providers across the state can’t be used amid an already slow vaccine rollout.
