It was a full day of fun for the whole family at the Rogers Historical Museum on Saturday.
All Aboard Family Day was filed with train barrel rides, a photo booth, crafts, historic demonstrations, and face paintings.
Best of all for attendees, the event was completely free.
The Leeper family saw the event online and traveled from Fort Smith to enjoy the festivities as part of their homeschooling.
“I love it when they can get involved, when they come up to me and say ‘Hey mommy, can you read this to me?’ or ‘Hey, did you see this?'” said Maranda Leeper. “That’s what I enjoy.
Leeper’s kids said their favorite part of the museum was the World War II section and the stagecoach.
