AR Delegation Requests Federal Disaster Assistance After Farms Damaged

Arkansas lawmakers urged U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack to support Governor Asa Hutchinson’s request for major disaster declaration for Arkansas.

U.S. Senators John Boozman and Tom Cotton and Congressman Rick Crawford, French Hill, Steve Womack and Bruce Westerman urged the Secretary Visack for disaster assistance regarding flooding doing damage to farms in Arkansas counties.

The counties that Governor Hutchinson requested disaster assistance for are Carroll, Clay, Craighead, Independence, Jackson, Lawrence, Lincoln, Madison, Prairie, Randolph, White and Woodruff counties.
