Benton County Drug Court will recognize 85 graduates who have successfully completed the program over the past year at a ceremony in Bentonville on Friday, May 17.
Events are set for 6 p.m. at the Bentonville Church of Christ.
Circuit Judge Thomas Smith, who oversees the program, says he sees its impact every day in his court.
“This graduation may be the most important of any of the participants’ life, because graduating may have saved their life,” said Judge Smith.
The drug court is in its 17th year of operation and the event will mark its 14th annual graduation.
The ceremony will also recognize graduates of the Veterans Treatment Court, which provides outreach and treatment to eligible veterans as an alternative to incarceration.
