Bentonville “March for Our Lives” to Have Law Enforcement Security

BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KFTA) — Thousands of people across the country are expected to participate in “March for Our Lives” Saturday.

A march is scheduled at the Bentonville Square starting at 10 a.m. and ending at 2 p.m.

Bentonville police will work with the Benton County Sheriff’s Office and the Arkansas State Police to provide security during the event.

“We’ve had to balance out so that we can still provide security for the event and still have enough resources available to do the day to day operations of investigating accident calls, if anyone calls for help or for 911, we’ve got those services up and running,” said Gene Page, Bentonville police public information officer.

Due to the expected size of the event, parking will be limited and restricted to areas outside of the square.
Commuters and visitors traveling in the area can expect delays and should plan accordingly.
