Bentonville Officials Seek Community Input on City Growth

BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KFTA) — The City of Bentonville wants your feedback on it’s plan for growth and development for the next 20 years.

Officials unveiled the plan Tuesday afternoon.

It’s been in the works for several years with input from both city officials, community members and local businesses.

One man who helped piece the plan together said in all his years of projects like this he’s never seen such pace for growth.

“Bentonville is going through radical changes every week. We’ve been working on this now for a couple of years, and never in a community that we’ve worked in has the context of the community been changing so consistently during the development of the plan itself,” said John Houseal of Houseal Lavigne Associates.

This won’t be the last time you can get your eyes on this draft.

More public hearings will be held in the future and you can see it anytime online.
