BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KFTA) — The Bentonville Film Festival announced a beloved film star as its first Legacy Award recipient, as well as its official film lineup.
“The Bentonville Film Festival has chosen Meg Ryan as the first recipient of the festival’s Legacy Award,” a BFF news release states.
Ryan’s appearance at this year’s festival will mark her third time at BFF. Ryan will be celebrated with anniversary screenings of her two popular collaborations with Nora Ephron and Tom
Hanks – Sleepless in Seattle (1993) and You’ve Got Mail (1998).
Ryan will be both honored and featured in a special conversation about her career in front of and
behind the camera on Friday, May 4 at the AMC Theatre at 21c Museum Hotel, 200 N.E.

The festival, now in its fourth year, will be held May 1-6.
