Big Brothers Big Sisters Celebrates Bringing Children and Mentors Together in NWA

SPRINGDALE, Ark. (KFTA) — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Arkansas is celebrating the matches local children have made with their mentors.

Friday night was their annual Christmas party, held at the Jones Center in Springdale.

Nearly 200 big brothers and big sisters attended along with their little brother s and sisters and their families. 

James Diloreto has been a big brother for almost a decade, and said it’s been such a rewarding experience. 

“It’s one of the best programs I’ve honestly ever done. It’s great to get to know the kid and hangout with him and just be another resource in his life,” Diloreto said.
