Boone County, Ark. Sheriff Confirms 2nd Body Found is Amy Villines

On February, 12, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office confirms the body found along Crooked Creek was that of Amy Villines, according to a press release by Boone County Sheriff, Mike Moore. 

On Saturday, February 9, Sheriff Moore and Investigators from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office and the Harrison Police Department responded to call around 1:45 that a body had been discovered near Lost Spur Ranch, the release states.

The Boone County Coroner’s office took possession of the body which was later transferred to the Arkansas State Crime Lab, where they confirmed the identity through dental records which were provided by the family, according to the release. 

This case is still being investigated as an accidental flood disaster, and completion of the investigation is pending the full autopsy reports from the Medical Examiner, the release states.
