It was a wild night at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks.
Ozark Natural Science Center’s ‘Call of the Wild Celebration’ was held at the Botanical Garden in Fayetteville, Friday night.
There was live music and food along with activities and demonstrations throughout the garden.
Roslyn Imrie, the Ozark Natural Science Center’s executive director, said it was a good opportunity for kids to connect with nature.
“More and more we’re getting drug into our screens and technology, and more and more we forget the earth that actually supports us and let’s us live,” Imrie said.
The money raised Friday will go to Ozark Natural Science Center, which gets students out into the wilderness for overnight field trips.
