ATLANTA, Ga. (KFTA) — The flu has killed 1,800 people nationwide since the official season began in late September

The Centers for Disease Control reports the virus has infected 3.7 million other people.

Thirty-two-thousand people have been sent to the hospital.

More than 170 million doses of flu vaccine have been distributed.

The CDC said it’s not too late to get vaccinated.
