Tickets for Children’s Christmas Train are on sale now and volunteers are still needed.
The 15th annual Children’s Christmas Train riders will depart from the Emma Street Train Depot in Downtown Springdale on Saturday, December 1st aboard a restored 1940’s era train.
The 40 minute ride to Johnson and back will include singing Christmas carols and storytelling! After returning to the Train Depot, families can enjoy holiday games, entertainment, and a visit from Santa.
Children and families are also encouraged to dress in Holiday attire.
Children 2 years of age and under do not require a ticket but will have to sit on your lap, $10 for ages 3-12, and $20 for adults.
This event will sell out.
Volunteers are needed for various activities including singing carols on the train, dressing up as Christmas characters, helping out in Santa’s village and more.
The Children’s Christmas Train is a fundraiser for the Children’s Safety Center of Washington County which provides services for abused children.
