The city of Bella Vista, asking residents to stay off its trail system, after a biker crashed on Wednesday.
City Communications Manager Cassi Lapp says the Natural Surface Trail System is not completed and poses serious danger to anyone on them.
Wednesday’s accident happened near Trafalgar Road and Grosvenor Road. Lapp says a woman on a mountain bike fell around 11:00 a.m. and was taken to the hospital.
First responders say the woman was wearing a helmet.
Lapp says the the city has not yet installed signs alerting riders the the degree of difficulty or locators that allow riders to identify where they are during an emergency. Theses signs will not be put up until construction of the trail is complete.

Until that time, the city says the trail is not open to the public.
