The Corps of Engineers closed the spillway gates at Beaver Dam on Friday at noon.

On Friday, the Corps said they would still release 3,800 cubic feet per second through the turbine generator and will continue to pass inflow throughout the weekend.

The lake is currently at an elevation level of 1,129.3.

Although there will be no rain through May 10, the Corps said future rainfall may cause the Corps to increase releases from Beaver Lake.
