Fayetteville National Cemetery Celebrates 100th Anniversary of WWI Armistice


In honor of November being National Veterans and Military Families month, a series of events in Fayetteville are popping up to celebrate.

On Monday, the 10th Annual Veterans Memorial 5K Race took place, but if you didn’t make it, there’s still an event on Sunday at 5:45 a.m. The Fayetteville National Cemetery is celebrating the 100th Anniversary of World War I Armistice.

President Donald Trump said this month is set aside to celebrate military families whose selfless service and sacrifice make our military the finest in the world.
