French bulldog recovered after robbery in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KFTA) — UPDATE: Pax, the silver French Bulldog stolen by three suspects on Thursday, has been found, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

Sergeant Tony Murphy with the Fayetteville Police Department said Pax has been returned to his owner.

The silver french bulldog was found by officers around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, running up and down Dickson Street.

Sgt. Murphy said the suspects were caught on camera and they also stole money, marijuana and a firearm.

He said anytime a gun is in the hands of someone it shouldn’t be, it’s alarming, but he doesn’t think the public is in any kind of danger because these types of robberies typically center around the drugs.

They are breaking in there to steal marijuana so they can sell it on the black market cause it’s a very lucrative business, in this instance they decided to also take the individuals pet, Pax.

Sgt. Murphy said he’s not sure if the man whose home was broken into had a license to carry the gun or medical marijuana card.

He asked that if you know anything about this, please reach out to the Fayetteville Police Department.

Police are searching for three suspects after they robbed a man at gunpoint on Thursday, February 20.

According to a Facebook post, they stole his Silver French Bulldog named Pax, marijuana, money, and a firearm.
