A Fayetteville principal got duct taped to the wall and instead of her students being punished they were rewarded.
It was all part of a celebration at Holcomb Elementary School where students successfully completed a fundraising campaign.
The kids were charged with raising $30,000 in the Fun Run Booster Challenge. The students not only met, but exceed that goal.
Their reward; getting to duct tape their Principal to the cafeteria wall.
“It really combines healthy activity, character building and culminates in team building and the kids running and accomplishing a goal” said Holcomb Elementary Principal Tracy Mulvenon.
The $32,000 raised from the fundraiser will pay for a new playground shade and new water bottle filling stations.
