Fox 24 News 7: 2019 Drive & Dine for Dementia

We are bringing awareness to an issue that affects our older generation.

Drive and Dine for Dementia is an event that will raise awareness and funds to provide training, support, and education for those who are caring for persons living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

It’s two signature events on one day on Friday, July 12.

Drive for Dementia starts the day with a golf tournament at Paradise Valley Athletic Club. Golfers receive premium SWAG bags, lunch provided by historic Herman’s Ribhouse. The winning team will be announced during Dine’s Celebratory Dinner and awarded fully-customized, tailored Broyles Foundation green jackets, courtesy of Walker Bros. in Fayetteville.

Dine for Dementia begins with a Green Carpet Reception at the Fayetteville Town Center. A gourmet steak dinner is prepared by Chef Miles James (James at the Mill, MJ’s Pizzeria) while attendees peruse the silent auction offerings. MC’ed by David Bazzel, this year’s program features two legends from the world of college football, Mark May & Bobby Bowden, alongside Betsy Broyles Arnold & Jacob Arnold of the Broyles Foundation.
