Hundreds of Volunteers Take Part in Day of Caring


Hundreds of volunteers will make a difference across six counties in the River Valley.

The United Way of Fort Smith kicked off its Day of Caring April 18.

It began with a kick-off breakfast at 8 a.m. at the Harry E. Kelley Riverfront Park in Fort Smith.

The hundreds of volunteers are tackling over 80 projects across the area and putting in thousands of work hours.
