Governor Asa Hutchinson is expected to sign a bill inspired by former Arkansas head Football coach, Frank Broyles.

According to Fayetteville State Representative Greg Leding,  the Frank Broyles Publicity Rights Protection Act is headed to the Governor’s office for his signature.

The bill intends to protect the likeness of legendary head coach  Frank Broyles and any other Arkansas celebrity.

State lawmakers say there are post-mortem laws protecting publicity rights, but this bill sets a statute, and takes pressure off of the courts.
