WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ark. (KFTA) — District 4 State Senator Greg Leding has defeated Republican rival Dawn Clemence.
Leding won the State Senate seat following a heated campaign with Clemence.
In late October, a video surfaced showing Leding and Clemence getting into a heated argument after a forum.
Vote totals from 54 of 55 precincts show that Leding claimed 67 percent of the vote to Clemence’s 33 percent.
Leding is a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives, serving the 86th District in Fayetteville.
He was elected to the Arkansas General Assembly in 2010.
