The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce is giving northwest Arkansans the chance to get personal with their local lawmakers.
The chamber is hosting a series of legislative forums at the Fayetteville Public Library over the span of several weeks.
Legislators will give updates on what has been going on at the Capitol since the 92nd general assembly began mid-January.
The forums are a good way for constituents to ask any questions they may have.
“Some of the things might seem mundane but a lot of the bills we pass potentially have big consequences, good and bad,” said Greg Leding, democratic state senator for District 4. “So it’s always important people contact their lawmakers to express their views so that lawmakers can count those views to make their decisions.”
