A Springdale man was arrested on Monday night after he was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl.
Bobby Laidren, 33, faces a charge of rape.
The minor was interviewed at the Benton County Child Safety Center.
She told the interviewer Laidren had touched her private areas which included her breasts and genital area.
Laidren told police that he placed his hand on the girl’s chest touching her breast and placed his hand on her genital area then immediately pulled away.
Laidren is currently being held at the Benton County Detention Center without bond.
His court date is set for August 27.
