In this morning’s Cyber Safety Report more and more consumers are concerned about their online privacy.
To combat the issue, there is a new feature available on the Mozilla FireFox browser. Mozilla is rolling out tracking protection by default for iPhone and iPad users. Now, when you use the browser, websites can’t track your activity and capture personal data, unless you allow it. Previously, the feature was available in FireFox for iOS, but users had to activate it. The feature on default in both regular and private browsing mode.
Google is reportedly adding a new layer of security for its users, a confidential mode. The new Google feature will prevent recipients from forwarding, printing or even copying e-mails. It’s expected to launch as early as next month during Google’s annual developer conference. The changes are increasingly important as consumers worry about their data being used and shared.
