NORAD Santa Tracker Continues Despite Government Shutdown

It’s Christmas Eve and Santa is being tracked as he makes his way around the country despite the partial government shutdown.

The North American Aerospace Defense and Command, or NORAD, is still planning on tracking Santa’s Christmas Eve journey.

It’s a 63-year tradition that not even a partial government shutdown is able to stop.

NORAD officials issued a statement on Twitter, saying 1,500 volunteers help make the program possible.

So don’t worry kids, the military is going to try and keep an eye on good ‘ole Saint Nick for you!
