FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KFTA) — The City of Fayetteville needs your input on how to improve the entire 71B corridor.
The corridor goes from south Fayetteville near Cato Springs Road all the way to Lake Fayetteville.
Tonight was the first of two public input meetings where residents were able to ask questions and share ideas to help make the corridor safer.
Officials say they will have meetings like these periodically for the next eight to nine months before they go to the city council with new ideas.
“Planning is a citizen led initiative so we really want to hear from citizens, they know the city better than anybody. So we want to hear from people on what they like, what they don’t like and how they want their city their corridors,” said Andrew Garner, city planning director.
If you missed Wednesday’s meeting there will be one Thursday at the Arkansas Research and Technology Park on Research Center Boulevard from 5-7 p.m.
