Two sweet and energetic pups are ready to leave the shelter and join your family. Meet Chance and Alice at the Centerton Animal Shelter.
Chance is a male pitbull, roughly a year old. He has been at the shelter for two and a half months. He does very well with people and the shelter is trying to find him a home where he is the only dog just for his benefit. He does pretty good with kids when they come and see him. He likes to play with balls and is very good at playing tug-of-war with ropes.
Alice has been here for a month and a half and her age hasn’t been checked. The shelter thinks she’s a black lab mix and has already been fixed. She gets along well with other dogs and is full of energy. Sometimes she doesn’t realize how big she is but she’s very sweet, loves to play, and loves to cuddle a lot too. We learned last week that she has pretty good ball drive and likes to play catch.
The shelter is looking primarily for a one-dog household for Chance but Alice has been one of the few dogs that he gets along with and behaves so the shelter feels pretty comfortable with them two in a yard together. They just play pretty rough and they haven’t had a fight.
