The city of Fort Smith has opened a place to go get a meal and a resource center for those affected by the flooding.

OK Foods started to cook food this morning at 8th and Garrison and the food will be distributed to those displaced throughout the city.

The old Sears store at Central Mall will house a multi-agency resource center for those affected.

There will be a host of resources that will be able to help navigate issues related to the flood.

Residents can also text “Flood2019” to 91999 for more information.
