The Rogers Police Department held a women’s self defense class Saturday.
We caught up with attendee Sandra Wanasek, she said she brought her and her daughter to the class because her sister was robbed at gun point.
She hopes to learn from this personal and tragic event.
“It occurred to me I needed to equip myself with skills and needed to arm myself with demeanors that will keep me safe,” said attendee Sandra Wanasek.
One of the things Rogers Police Officer Keith Foster said is to act as quick as you can. The first 30 seconds of being attacked are vital in escaping.
