United Airlines has reached a settlement with the passenger who was dragged from one of its flights.
David Dao was ordered off a United Flight from Chicago to Louisville last month.
Dao refused to leave, and was dragged of the plane, injuring him.
Dao’s attorney did not disclose financial terms of the agreement but said in a statement the United CEO did the right thing and said United has taken full responsibility for what happened without attempting to blame others.
It was a police officer who worked for the City of Chicago that dragged Dao from the aircraft. That officer has been suspended.
