Sheep Dog Departs NWA to Help Nebraska Flood Victims

Sheep Dog Impact Assistance deployed to Columbus, Neb., today to help out flood victims.

A small team from Northwest Arkansas is meeting up with other volunteers in Kansas to help tear down flooded homes and rebuild them.

Sheep Dog Impact Assistance is an organization based on disaster response made up of veterans and first responders.

“This internal drive that most of us have to kind of give back to areas impacted with a disaster, communities in need is an important part for us in our hearts, so we do what we can to help where we can,” said Jason Dixon, disaster response coordinator for Sheepdog Impact Assistance.

If you’d like to support Sheep Dog, monetary donations can be made online.
