UPDATE: Sheep Dog Impact Assistance has a team in Carl Junction, Mo., Friday and may send a team to Jefferson City, Mo., soon to help victims of recent tornadoes, according to Sheep Dog’s website.

Tornadoes went through southwest Missouri Wednesday, killing at least 3 people.

Sheep Dog Impact Assistance will decide later this evening on whether to send a disaster response team to southwest Missouri.

Last night, tornadoes went through southwest Missouri, killing at least 3 people.

The disaster response team would deploy to the area to assist with chainsaw operations, debris removal, and other recovery efforts.

Sheep Dog hopes to make a decision this evening for deployment as soon as tomorrow morning, May 24.

Anyone can be a part of the deployment team. If you are available to deploy anytime during the next few days, register by clicking here.

After registering, you will be added to the list of disaster response volunteers and will receive deployment information as it becomes available.

Sheep Dog is in need of financial donations, as well as gift cards for fuel, and to places like Home Depot, Lowes, and Walmart to replenish supplies.

Gift cards can be dropped off or mailed to the National Office at 1200 West Walnut Street, Suite 2301, in Rogers.
