A bridge that’s been closed for several months is set to reopen.
The Spanker Creek Bridge, which is located near Bella Vista, closed December 3, 2018, after a flood damaged it back in 2017.
County Judge Barry Moehring said the goal is to have the bridge open by May 20, but there’s a chance that cars could be crossing it even before then.
“We’re just down to cleaning up the bridge,” Moehring said. “We have some final inspections and some final things to do on it., but the structure is built. It’s ready to go and we’re looking forward to getting it open.”
The opening of the Spanker Creek Bridge will kick off a series of work near the structure.
