Springdale firefighters were dispatched on Sunday morning to a home fire on Walden Street in Lowell.

Firefighters received the call around 7:03 a.m.

Officials say the family was still inside the home when the fire broke out. Neighbors woke them up and alerted them to what was happening.

Capt. Matt Bagley with the Springdale Fire Department said the house was damaged but was not completely destroyed.

The family told firefighters the fire began outside of the home near a vehicle and made its way into the attic.

No one was reported injured.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
