SPRINGDALE — For some Springdale Middle Schoolers Friday was the day to get financially fit. Tyson Middle School held a fiscal bootcamp, getting kids ready for financial decisions ahead of the game.
The workshop was held by the Springdale Public Library as part of their Springdale Gets Smart series.
“Talking to kids about learning to be better consumers, learning how to manage their money. To think about money in a different way than just what you can get with it,” said Laura Speer a Reference Librarian at the Springdale Public Library.
3 other similar workshops will be held at other Springdale Middle Schools.
